My journey to recovery has been long and intense. I have come to better myself and better understand the world around me. I have worked the program that was set in front of me. No matter how many back slides I had there was support to better my understanding of what had happened and how to fix these problems and causes. Who knew that I could walk in the door as a drug addict with a mental illness who didn't matter and be able to stand here today and say 'I am more that my addiction and illness I am a person who matters!' I am now few years sober, and proud to be ME!
