What is Hope For Our Own (HFOO)?

An employee/volunteer compassion program.

What does it do?
|
|
It provides assistance to an CMH employee experiencing an "emergency" in their life.
|
How does it work?
|
|
Fill out an application for help, forward to the Foundation and the committee reviews the request.
|
Where do funds come from?
|
|
This is an employee funded program so we can help each other. Employees are donating money out of their paychecks to fund this cause, and private donors contribute as well. Fund raisers throughout the year also raise more money.
|
So far we have been able to help many coworkers, giving out thousands of dollars.
|
|
A housefire, a divorce, a life threatening accident, a serious illness, and travel for a death in the family.
