With help from their friends: Peers play key role in treating mental illness

In 2004, a committee of the Center for Mental Health decided to bring a peer support pilot program to Great Falls. By the fall of 2005, that became a reality when the first peer support classes were offered. By early 2006, CMH hired its first peer support specialists.

Local Advisory Council honors Macfadden

The Cascade County Local Advisory Council on Mental Health honored Joan-Nell Macfadden for more than 35 years of advocacy.  On January 7, LAC chair Robin Johnson LCPC formally recognized Macfadden for her legacy of service and dedication. 

Employees pledge $4,881 through 2013 payroll deduct
