Vocational Specialist (PACT) - Great Falls

Duties:  Assess, plan, develop, coordinate, and provide treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to program clients with severe and persistent mental illnesses under the clinical supervision of the team leader and the psychiatrist. Bargaining unit position, must participate in the Union pension fund.

Requirements:  Must have a Bachelor’s degree in vocational rehabilitation/ counseling.  Master’s degree in Rehabilitation and Counseling preferred.  Internships and other supervised practical experiences in a clinical or rehabilitation setting with persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses is preferred.  Must have a strong commitment to the right and ability of each person with a severe and persistent mental illness to live in their community.  Must possess the skills and competence to establish relationships with persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses.  Respect for client rights and personal preferences in treatment are essential.  Training and experience in supported employment and/or vocational rehabilitation. Must have a valid MT driver’s license, personal vehicle and current vehicle insurance.  Transportation of clients required.
